Doctoral school
Research is a central activity within the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Aix-Marseille University, at the heart of the mission of its teacher-researchers. Through study days, colloquia, collective publications and field research, the Faculty of Law's teacher-researchers conduct ambitious and stimulating research in order to strengthen the quality and attractiveness of our courses.

Structured research
Organized around 14 units and a Federation, research at the Faculty of Law and Political Science is structured to allow the emergence of identified and unifying themes.
While respecting the specificities of the different disciplines of law, the organization of research at the Faculty of Law and Political Science allows teacher-researchers to exchange ideas and promote multidisciplinarity.

Innovative and excellent research
Thanks to the dynamism of the teacher-researchers and the research units, research at the Faculty of Law and Political Science is firmly anchored in its time. Legal research in Aix-Marseille is recognised for its excellence, particularly by the HCERES, on innovative subjects linked to the evolution of society and the normative framework.
In connection with the other research structures of Aix-Marseille University, the research carried out at the Faculty of Law and Political Science also aims to decompartmentalise the legal field in order to be one of the driving forces of academic research.

International research and partnerships
Perfectly integrated into the socio-economic world, the research carried out within the Faculty of Law and Political Science is nourished by numerous partnerships with the business world, the associative world and the legal and judicial professions. Thus, the Entretiens Portalis bring together all these professions to strengthen the links between the University and practice.
Open to the world, research at the Faculty of Law is also enriched by numerous international partnerships in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Rich and valuable scientific output
In order to widely disseminate the results of the research carried out within the Faculty of Law and Political Science, scientific production is widely promoted through publications of a national nature, in particular by PUAM, but also of an international nature.
Research at the Faculty of Law and Political Science is also supported and promoted by numerous scientific partners.
