    The DESUMATA Airline Pilots is aimed at holders of a theoretical ATPL (Airline Pilot Transport Licence) and a CPLIR-MCC (Commercial Pilot Licence Instrument Rating- Multi Crew Cooperation) who wish to broaden their field of competence in the air transport sector.

    This course provides additional knowledge required by candidates for the future role of final decision-maker, namely captain, in its human and operational components.

    ElIe brings a complementary expertise in air transport strategy and management.

    The DESUMATA Airline Pilots offers students a support to deepen their understanding of air transport issues with a long term internship and an associated research thesis.

    This offer therefore provides pilots with a complementary training to the technical training of airline pilots and significantly increases the expertise of pilots in air transport management. This will improve their employment prospects.

    Graduate of a piloting school.

  • ADMISSION CONDITIONS

    Graduate from a piloting school and additional operational training as defined in the following prerequisites:

    Minimum of 4 years of higher education or equivalent.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    The graduate masters the legal, technical and operational aspects of aviation security and safety requirements.

    He/she can participate in the implementation of a safety management approach and the development of safety and security cultures in companies in the aviation sector.

    The graduate is capable of analyzing and defining the strategy of an aviation activity, he/she masters the company structures and the different organizations of the aeronautical sector.

    He/she masters the main principles of air law.

    He/she masters the environmental issues raised by air transport as well as the stakes involved.

    He/she is capable of understanding the logistics chain of air freight.

    He/she has the tools to communicate and manage aeronautical crises that may arise.

    He/she is able to apply the Quality approach of an aeronautical company.

    He/she communicates orally and in writing in a clear and unambiguous manner in French and English and in a register adapted to a public of specialists and non-specialists.

    He/she knows how to adapt to different national and international socio-professional and intercultural contexts.

    He/she can manage a project (design, steering, implementation and management, evaluation and dissemination) that can mobilize multidisciplinary knowledge in a collaborative framework.

    He/she is capable of working in a group and of leading collective projects involving several actors.
