DESU Postgraduate diploma in European and international law

If there are masters in these subjects at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of Aix-Marseille and in other French universities, they do not offer the flexibility needed to allow students to consolidate their knowledge while entering a professional activity;This DESU allows students to consolidate their knowledge while becoming involved in a professional activity. Indeed, this DESU allows, through its format combining distance learning and pedagogical grouping sessions, to adapt to the needs of the student and his professional environment.

The DESU is a unique opportunity to learn from the experience of the student.

Due to the subjects studied and the internships carried out, a European and international influence is assured for this training.

The DU and DESU existing at national and regional level remain very specialised. The originality of the DESU Droit européen et international approfondi is precisely to allow working on the whole of the extra-national legal sphere (European +international with recognised specialists).

The last DESU is the first one to be offered in the European Union.

The last original feature is to offer an adapted preparation for competitive examinations in these fields, which constitutes a deepening and an improvement compared to the existing competitive examination preparation courses (AMU, Sciences Po).

The training has a professionalizing purpose.

This diploma complements the holder's theoretical training by offering him/her the opportunity to carry out an internship and to become familiar with the evidence of European and international competitions. The holder of this diploma will be able to monitor regulations and case law and use databases.

The holder of this diploma:

- advises the company, the administration, the organisation concerned by European and international regulations

- prepares, follows and takes part in the litigation of legal cases with a European and international scope

This is a key element in the success of the project and is a key factor in the success of the project.

Internship of at least three months related to European and international issues, in a company, administration, jurisdiction or organisation.
