As part of "La Nuit du droit", a national event launched in 2017 at the initiative of Laurent Fabius, President of the Conseil constitutionnel, the Conseil constitutionnel will be hosting debates and performances on the theme of "War and the Law" on October 4, 2022.
Hosted by Thomas Sotto, the evening will bring together leading experts to reflect on the current situation and the new era of law that could open up in the wake of the tragic war in Ukraine. Speakers include Robert Badinter, Karim Kahn, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Andriy Kostin, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Colonel François Heulard, Director of the Gendarmerie Nationale's Criminal Research Institute, and pianist Khatia Buniatishvili.
