The Défenseur des droits is launching a call for research projects, with the support of the Direction de la protection judiciaire de la jeunesse (DPJJ) and the Institut des études et de la recherche sur le droit et la justice (IERDJ), on the theme of The impact of detention on the social, educational and/or professional trajectories of minors who have been incarcerated.
The aim of the project is to document the career paths of young people leaving prison, and to analyze the impact of their incarceration(s) on their social, educational and/or professional trajectories. They will analyze the backgrounds, experiences and perceptions of people who were incarcerated as minors.
The work resulting from this call for projects will contribute to a better understanding of the challenges and needs of young people who have been incarcerated, in order to promote their social and professional reintegration.
