Every year, thousands of children are deprived of going back to school or attend school in unsatisfactory conditions for various reasons (disability, illness, vulnerability). However, for people with special educational or training needs, digital technology offers unprecedented possibilities for social and/or professional inclusion. This cross-disciplinary research program is based on a number of disciplines, innovative methodological and digital tools, and on the expertise of the Institut national supérieur de formation et de recherche pour l'éducation des jeunes handicapés et les enseignements adaptés (INSHEA) in the field of disability and inclusive schools. The UNESCO Chair, which aims to become a national and international scientific reference center, proposes to support companies, citizens and public authorities in their reflections on the use of inclusive tools, and to contribute to the implementation of these tools, particularly for people with disabilities, which will ultimately benefit society as a whole.
