The aim is to trace the emergence of the notion of refugee in the 20th century, the historical evolution of their number and their situation in the world, with a peak in the aftermath of the Second World War, and a second peak nowadays, especially since 2015, with a figure of 80 million refugees today. The approach will also be legal and humanitarian, with interventions by specialists and association leaders. The evening of studies will analyze the refugee crisis, in Europe and in the world, and these reflections are part of the field of history, geography, sociology, political science, international relations, and international law.
