    The Master mention « health law » aims to train qualified lawyers. The Master is organised over a two-year cycle:

    • The first year provides a basic understanding of health law. During the latter, fundamental teachings are given during lectures. Students must, in addition to the lectures, follow tutorials.
    • In the second year of the Master's degree students of the mention choose within the course 3 options respectively oriented towards research, private law of health or public law of health.
  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    The health law specialisation is intended to welcome people with a law degree. In addition, doctors in medicine or pharmacy can also enter this course in order to develop and acquire additional legal skills to complement their initial training.

    In the first year, all subject and cross-curricular teaching is compulsory. A reinforced common base in the field of health law is proposed to the students, four subjects in directed work and two without directed work. In the second year, the course is built around a common core of 180 hours and 3 options oriented towards research or the private or public health sector.

  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

    The training in health law aims at the acquisition of legal knowledge in the health field. The objective of the training is to assimilate the foundations of public and private health law.

    The teaching relating to the public organisation of health, the health professions, bioethics, the rights of users of the health system, health establishments, health products, the problems of the health system and the health care system;The course is designed to provide students with a basic understanding of health law, including health and environmental issues, liability mechanisms, medical expertise, and protection against disease.

    The training is oriented on the mastery of legal methodology and legal reasoning, specific to this disciplinary field. These two skills are essential both for the success of health competitions, and for professionalization, or even to engage in a doctorate.

    The students of the Master have the possibility, in the first year, to do an internship or a research report.

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION

    Students of the master 1 can choose as an option of the UE5 the realisation of an internship followed by the writing of a report. They are then supervised by a tutor. The students of the MP « Medical and Pharmaceutical Law » and « Expertise in the national and international penal system » complete an internship which is the subject of a report and a defense. This integration into the professional environment is monitored by a PM teacher.
