The programme proposes, in an original way, to train students in the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms by insisting on its practical and applied dimension. It offers a mastery of the fundamental concepts of the discipline, of the contemporary stakes of this protection but also of the various concrete tools allowing to ensure the safeguard of fundamental rights. Far from being limited to a theoretical reflection on the subject of freedoms, the programme aims to train students for the practice of the profession of lawyer or magistrate, or as a specialised lawyer; The programme offers the possibility of working as a lawyer or magistrate, as a specialised lawyer in non-governmental organisations and in specialised private or public bodies, both national and international, dealing with issues related to rights and freedoms. The programme also offers the possibility, subject to the completion of a thesis, to access the career of a teacher-researcher.

The programme is open to all students who are interested in a career in the field of rights and freedoms.
