    Innovation requires the collaboration of various skills: technical, legal, financial, economic, marketing etc.

    Practical experience shows that the people who exercise these competences do not necessarily speak the same language and do not always understand each other, which can lead to loss of time and competence for companies. The objective of this diploma is to bring together people from different backgrounds, cultures and training to enable them to acquire a common culture around the problems of innovation and to work on innovative projects by integrating the constraints of the various functions of the company involved in these projects.

    This diploma is of interest to students from scientific, economic, legal, humanities, engineering and business schools, as well as to professionals, lawyers, industrial property consultants, industrialists, engineers and other professionals;Industrial property attorneys, R&D managers, laboratory directors, IP department managers, valorisation managers, and more generally anyone who has to deal with issues concerning innovation.

  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    Diploma open to students of law, economics, management and scientific training from the bachelor's degree onwards.

  • ADMISSION CONDITIONS

    Bachelor's degree (legal, economic, scientific), M1 or M2 (legal, economic, scientific), engineering or equivalent business school degree.

  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

    (I) management of innovation,

    (II) general knowledge of intellectual property law and in particular the specificities of patent law related to new technologies (biotech, energy, software, nanotechnologies, etc.), financing of innovation

    (III) history and philosophy of science, history of the diffusion of innovation, sociology of innovation, sociology of innovation, ethics and innovation.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    Ability to consider the problems of innovation in a transversal way, ability to dialogue with the various functions of the company involved in innovation and IP (R&D, finance, HR etc.), acquisition of an innovation culture. To master the language related to innovation and intellectual property.

    Provide a common culture of innovation, the conditions of its emergence and implementation and its protection to students from different backgrounds (lawyers, economists, scientists). The aim is not to create an additional diploma in intellectual property, but to give a transversal vision of the problems of innovation in a way that will enable students to enable people with different backgrounds and training to speak the same language and to approach the issues with the same approach and background.
