  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

The DCJU offers a multidisciplinary training in law, accounting, management, finance, economics and management. The programme of the different teaching modules is in line with the DCG (Diploma of Accounting and Management), which gives the Degree of Licence in the accounting field (Dé 2010-1423 of 17/11/2010). The DCJU course therefore allows students to validate the DCG at the same time as the DCJU.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

Students from the DCJU programme have a global vision of the functioning of a company. They also acquire particular skills in the management of client files within a consultancy firm and know how to develop personal qualities in terms of communication and autonomy of work.

  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

In the third year, students carry out a compulsory 8-week internship in an accounting firm or in the accounting and financial departments of a company, a public authority or an association. The internship runs from mid-October to mid-December and is subject to a report defense in April.

Courses in the use of accounting software are given before they leave on placement. On their return, they follow courses in communication and the use of computer-assisted presentation software in preparation for the defence. The examination is held both for the DCJU and for the national proof of the public accounting curriculum (DCG - UE13 - Professional relations). The jury is composed of a teacher and a chartered accountant.
