Chile in the face of local, regional and international conflicts (XIX-XXIth century) - Université Paris VIII and other entities - deadline (proposal) before 01 11 2024

Online 09 07 2024

(Announcement Calenda 1165718)

The aim of this multidisciplinary colloquium will be to consider conflict in all its complexity (nature, form, intensity, places, consequences, temporality) and to propose an analysis of the characteristics of the actors involved and the levels of conflictuality that have taken place in the various conflicts that have traversed the history of Chile from the 19th to the 21st century. Drawing on various lines of research, the symposium proposes to take a fresh look at conflict in contemporary Chilean history, based on an analysis of the articulation between antagonism, solidarity and resolution, and a critical dimension in relation to the notion of agentivity.
