The University of Paris Lumières and the Labex Les passés dans le présent are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher for the Franco-British project "Cast in Stone" (Statues and memories of empire in post-imperial France and Britain).Conducted under the direction of Emmanuelle Sibeud and Julie Marquet, within the Labex Les passés dans le présent, the Franco-British project Cast in Stone is a multidisciplinary project that aims to conduct a systematic and comparative study of statues linked to colonialism and contested in France and Britain as well as the many debates surrounding the existence of these statues.
