For several years now, sports events have been called upon to create a dynamic around their social impact and their legitimacy that goes beyond the mere holding of the event. This context has focused attention on several dimensions related to their organization, including the legacy that has quickly saturated the public debate. If its economic aspect has been the subject of several studies, the social dimensions have crystallized the attention while remaining in the background in the work carried out. As such, the missions of the post-doctoral fellow recruited aim to study the possible social effects of the Route du Rhum over the long term by considering the analysis of its effects on several dimensions.
