Psychology and law: the viewpoint of magistrates - SFPJ Study Day (on site) 06 23 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm - Université Paris Saclay

Organized by the Société Française de Psychologie Juridique of the Université Paris-Saclay, this study day has two main objectives. The first is to enable the speakers to develop as freely as possible their views on one or more questions that particularly call for their attention in terms of the links between law and psychology, and the second is to encourage feedback and concrete, lively exchanges between the speakers and with the audience.

On July 10 and 11, 2023, the Agence nationale de la recherche (ANR) and the Festival d'Avignon are organizing the tenth edition of the "Rencontres Recherche et Création" (Research and Creation Encounters) on the theme of "The Making of Societies". A privileged time for exchange between researchers, artists, representatives of the entertainment industry and Festival audiences, the Rencontres aim to bring together the thinking behind the works and the most recent research.

The epistolary activity of Condorcet (1743-1794), usually considered the most eminent representative of the Enlightenment to have participated in the French Revolution, is still largely unknown. Despite an unprecedented editorial effort over the last ten years, several hundred items of his correspondence remain unpublished. This scientific event is devoted to most of them.

The annual Raymond-Aron colloquium entitled "Democracies and the International Order in Crisis. Peace and War: 60 Years Later" will be held on June 21 and 22 at Sciences Po Paris (Salle Erignac - 13 Rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris, France). The colloquium is organized by SARA (Société des amis de Raymond Aron), in collaboration with CEVIPOF (Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po, Paris), Sciences Po, and Calmann-Lévy Editions.

This study day aims to study the question of the tightening of the link between the educational system and the economic field, through the question of exposure to working conditions, as well as the place of the educational actors in the know-how of caution, in a multidisciplinary approach. It will also aim to federate a network of researchers around these very current issues and thus bring the results of their work to the public sphere.

Part of the French history of government reform, expenditure reviews were introduced by the 2014-2019 public finance programming law, and again by Article 21 of the 2023/2027 public finance programming bill and Article 167 of the 2023 initial budget law. The Rencontres internationales de la gestion publique (RIGP) 2023 will question the specificities of this expenditure review exercise implemented in France, with respect to previous French experiences and contemporary foreign practices.
