The Observatoire national de la protection de l'enfance (ONPE) aims to produce and improve knowledge of the phenomena of abuse and/or endangerment of minors, the effects of the protection and education measures implemented, as well as knowledge of issues relating to adoptions and access to personal origins.
Each year, the ONPE's Scientific Council and the GIP France Enfance Protégée's Board of Directors agree to issue a call for thematic projects to research teams from all disciplines concerned by these phenomena.
The theme of ONPE's 2026 call for projects is "violence experienced by children in child protection care settings".
