    The master's degree develops a dual competence in law and management and trains versatile business law lawyers who are likely to enter a multitude of sectors that do not require a mastery of business law: judicial careers (business lawyers, judicial commissioners, clerks of administrator or judicial representative...), accountants (legal or financial expert, diagnostic expert, chartered accountant, auditor, management controller, tax expert, credit and banking risk analyst,...), careers in the company (company lawyer, administrative manager, legal advisor, etc.);(corporate lawyer, administrative manager, investment bank lawyer, specialised business lawyer for credit institutions, social lawyer, etc.)(company director, entrepreneur, company director, business consultant, interim manager, etc.)

  • LEARNING AND RESEARCH

    Students will be trained in research in their specialist field. They will receive training in research techniques on computer databases and appropriate methodological advice. They will have written several research reports and will take part in the colloquiums and scientific events organised by the team of teacher-researchers of the CEDI (Centre for the Study of Insolvency Law) within the CDE.

    The CDE is the only institution in the world to offer a training programme in insolvency law.

    Research and support entities:

    The diploma relies, for research, on the CDE (EA 4224) and within it on a team dedicated to the law of companies in difficulty: the CEDI (Centre for the Study of Insolvency Law).

    The training is part of the IDA (Institut de Droit des Affaires).

    The master's degree in administration and liquidation of companies in difficulty allows students to acquire the skills necessary to exercise the roles of administrator and judicial representative in accordance with the annex to the decree of 7 March 2017 on the administration of companies in difficulty;administrator and judicial representative in accordance with the annex to the order of 7 March 2017 on access to the professions of judicial administrator and judicial representative (NOR : JUSC1706435A)

  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    Students must complete an internship in their first and second year that is directly related to their training. The second year internship must last three months and is the subject of a report. The first year internship can be replaced by a thesis.

  • SPECIFIC TEACHING CONDITIONS

    In the first year of the Master's degree, most of the courses are shared with the business major except for a few specific competences (civil enforcement proceedings, restructuring and collective redundancies, criminal business law).

    In the second year of the Master's degree, the emphasis is on the study of the professional law of administrators and judicial representatives and offers practical situations on complex cases.
