    The objective of the Insurance Law course is to train specialists with the theoretical and practical legal and economic knowledge required to deal with insurance issues in their entirety. The development of this course exclusively in alternation (apprenticeship or professionalization contract) allows students to combine academic learning with the practical application of their knowledge and exercises carried out at the University.

    The objectives of this M2 are to train future managers able to work in all areas of insurance (life insurance, damage insurance, for companies or individuals, transport insurance, construction insurance, etc.) and in all kinds of positions, such as underwriter, risk manager, personnel managerIn addition to the above, there are a number of other positions, such as underwriter, risk manager, production manager, claims manager, insurance lawyer, life insurance lawyer, insurance service manager, insurance expert, insurance product designer and developer, insurance broker, general insurance agent, insurance salesperson, etc.

  • FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES

    Level required :

    Master 1 or lower level (L3) but with a VAE or VAP

    Required prerequisites:

    - internships in a professional environment (lawyers, insurance.),

    - insurance law course in M1

    - knowledge of private law;

    The scientific objective of this course is to enable students to learn the various branches of insurance law. This course, which puts into perspective the theory and practice (through alternation) of insurance law, may also allow the student to pursue this Master 2 with a research work, in theory.
