The Maison des sciences humaines et sociales Paris Nord is launching an annual call for projects on issues corresponding to its research axes and themes. This call is open to projects of a high scientific level, including incubation and risk-taking, and meeting three criteria of the Charter of the Réseau national des Maisons des sciences sociales et des humanités: interdisciplinarity, interinstitutionality and internationality.

It also proposes a number of key themes that in no way exclude the usual orientations of MSH Paris Nord's axes and themes.
Current world events are bringing international tensions to the fore: legal, social, economic and political organizations are becoming more fragile.
Post-World War II geopolitical balances, democracies and their sovereignty are being destabilized. The massive use of digital, electronic and AI network technologies is dominating the game.
Ecologically and climatically, the future of the planet is at stake: climate change, displacement of populations, growing dependence on scarce resources/terres rares.
The call for proposals is open to all these clusters.
II Conditions of eligibility
This call for proposals is open to all researchers, whatever their status, discipline, institutional affiliation or geographical location (in France or abroad), as long as they belong to a structure likely to be recognized by MSH Paris Nord. Preference is given to projects by young researchers and doctoral students. Partnerships with researchers under the auspices of MSH Paris Nord (Université Paris 8, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and CNRS- Île-de-France) are welcome.
Several conditions determine the eligibility of projects:
- they must be in line with the axes and themes of MSH Paris Nord (including cross-disciplinary projects) ;
- their interdisciplinary and inter-institutional scope. An international dimension is desirable;
- their impact on MSH Paris Nord: as far as possible, events and research activities should take place on MSH Paris Nord premises;
- projects submitted by researchers from the same team or discipline will not be considered.
