The aim of the ACCESS ERC program is to support talented young researchers in preparing their application for the ERC Starting Grants, in particular by helping them to strengthen their CV so that it is competitive in this call. With this ambition in mind, it funds two-year (24-month) post-doctoral contracts for young PhDs, hosted in French research laboratories.
The Access ERC 2025 call is open to humanities and social sciences disciplines only.
The ANR funding consists of a two-year (24-month) post-doctoral contract between July 1, 2025 and August 31, 2027, with the aim of applying for ERC Starting Grants.
In order to give future applicants the best possible chance of success, ANR has taken steps to ensure that proposals are selected and funded as quickly as possible, and that support is provided.
