This issue of the French Journal of Social Affairs (RFAS) aims to shed light on the effects of poverty on the entry into child protection and on the life course of children under protective care. Thus, taking an interest in the living conditions of children and families identified by child protection services will contribute to a better understanding of the issues and limits surrounding public action. This call for papers is addressed to researchers in sociology, anthropology, economics, demography, statistics, law, political science, education science, history, and geography.
