1 Presentation of the scheme (summary)
The present doctoral contract, under an Industrial Convention for Training through Research (CIFRE), is jointly opened by the city of Saint-Denis, which will be the employer of the doctoral student, and the "Crisis, School, Sensitive Terrain" team (CETS). The team is a member of Cref (Centre de recherches Éducation et Formation, Université Paris-Nanterre).
The doctoral contract will focus on the evaluation, monitoring of actions and results of the "Cité éducative" approach, in connection with the CETS team and in close contact with the actors of this project.
The doctoral student will notably analyze the governance dynamics implemented within the framework of the "Cité éducative" approach.
The doctoral student must
- Hold a Master's degree (or have a Master's degree by the end of the 2022-2023 academic year);
- Have a background in education and training sciences or, failing that, a background in human and social sciences related to educational issues;
- Master survey methodology: questionnaires, interviews and field observations;
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and, possibly, related statistical tools;
- Be based in the Paris area;
- Knowledge and/or professional experience (work-study, internship, fixed-term or permanent contract) in a local community, in popular education or in a state administration would be an asset.
