(Calenda announcement 932919)

On the occasion of the revision of the bioethics law, this colloquium aims to analyse the main provisions of the text from the point of view of fundamental rights. After presenting the sentences relating to reproductive rights, i.e. the opening of self-preservation of gametes as a preventive measure and access to medical assistance with a third party donor for couples and single women, the provisions of the text relating to filiation will be discussed (for lesbian couples, couples having recourse to GPA abroad and filiation of trans' persons, a subject which was not dealt with by the text). Finally, the law explicitly recognises a right to knowledge of personal origins for people conceived by gamete donation and provides a framework for the care of intersex people in order to preserve their physical integrity.
