As the place where power is exercised and manifested, but also where it is contested and resisted, the body has been the subject of much reflection and debate, particularly within gender studies. However, the rapid evolution of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as the mutations they induce in the arts and cultural industries, raise numerous challenges that require in-depth reflection on the part of researchers in the human and social sciences (SHS). From an interdisciplinary perspective, this conference brings together researchers from diverse disciplines such as sociology, information and communication sciences, gender studies, cultural studies, anthropology, history, computational sciences, etc. to explore reflections on bodies in the arts and media in the digital age. Papers are organized around five themes: representations and discourses, reception and uses, devices, performances and methods.
