The design, analysis, circulation and archiving of films and videos are at the heart of a growing number of research projects in the Arts, Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences. The advent of digital tools has accelerated this trend: annotating, preserving and sharing audiovisual documents have thus become common practice for many researchers, despite the technical and scientific difficulties that these corpora continue to pose. This international colloquium focuses on the different approaches and methods applied to the exploration of natively digital or digitized audiovisual documents. It aims to bring together researchers from different disciplines (history, sociology, information and communication sciences, education sciences, film studies, performing arts, anthropology, etc.) to share case studies and concrete experiences.
