It's undeniable that new technologies have brought profound changes to all areas of society, including education. New pedagogical approaches, such as personalized and adaptive learning, the use of virtual and augmented reality, or the integration of chatbots and intelligent assistants, offer new possibilities for making teaching more attractive and effective. However, it is important to consider how these new technologies can be integrated into academic research methodologies in a meaningful way. How can we guarantee the validity and reliability of the data collected using these tools? How can we measure the real impact of these new approaches on student learning? What needs to change on the teacher's side and on the study regimes' side?
