Calenda Announcement 1,434,126 (excerpts)
This doctoral seminar aims to explore experiences of social mobility through multidisciplinary approaches. It examines cross-class trajectories, narratives of descent, representations of social mobility, and the effects of class, gender, race, and migratory heritage. By bringing together diverse fields of study, corpora, and methods, the seminar provides a forum for discussion on contemporary forms of social mobility and the ways in which they are experienced, narrated, and analyzed.
