Supported by LARHRA and the ANR Kappa program, this day will bring together young researchers∙euses in SHS, come.es to discuss the various methodological challenges that a thesis work can pose around the fields of disability and old age. The aim of this study day is multiple: to discuss each∙e's theses, but also to meet other chercheur∙euses working on similar subjects to build a network, share a reflection on an obstacle encountered, and above all to bring more general elements of epistemological reflection on what is research in SHS around the themes of dependence and autonomy. What's more, this study day will not only bring together different disciplines, but also bring together the fields of disability and old age, which are rarely brought together, despite the many points they have in common.
