The proposed colloquium is an interdisciplinary analysis of the criminal trial known as France Telecom, named after the company in which the facts of which the defendants are accused led the judge to use a notion of "institutional moral harassment". Its emblematic character, by the multiple stakes which are associated with it, for the law as for the life of the City, makes it an object of research for a reflection on the articulation of the social law and the penal law in the defense of the health at work. In this global perspective, the aim is, through a case study, to understand the notions mobilized and the strategies deployed by the actors in a trial with strong media resonance: articulation of legal techniques (in particular procedure and substantive law - thus the notion of "institutional moral harassment"), of militant considerations, especially trade union ones, and of the lawyers' judicial strategies.
