The aim of this colloquium is to bring together jurists and political scientists of all backgrounds and sensibilities to reflect on the links between public law, i.e. state law, and politics. Today, these links are often concealed, and the political nature of public law is a relative taboo among jurists. By going back to the foundations of this discipline and adopting a generalist, cross-disciplinary approach, the aim is to examine the reasons for this taboo - the better to break it. Speakers will be tasked with testing the hypothesis of public law as political law, crossed by political cleavages (liberalism, right and left, anarchism, etc.).
