The aim of this study day is to look back at the work of Lucie Tanguy (director of research at the CNRS, 1937-2024) and to discuss its extensions. It will bring together researchers who have worked with Lucie Tanguy or who have mobilized her work, and look back at the many avenues of research she opened up. The three round-table discussions will cover the sociology of relations between schools and companies, the continuing education of employees, the mobilization of socio-history to glimpse future possibilities, international programs and comparisons (Germany, Brazil, Great Britain, Italy), not forgetting her contribution to the analysis of the emergence and evolution of the sociology of work in France.
