Objective
The "2+2" double degree is a top-class program in French and English law offered by Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) and the University of Kent. The program lasts four years, and enables students who have just passed their baccalaureate to study the first two years at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, AMU in Aix-en-Provence, and the following two years at Kent Law School, University of Kent, Canterbury, UK.
At the end of the program, students receive two degrees:
- A Bachelor's degree and a Master 1 in International and European Law, awarded by AMU
- An LLB ("Bachelor of Laws") awarded by theUniversity of Kent. This is equivalent to a Master 1 in France.
This dual degree is highly valued on the job market, as it enables students to embark on legal and judicial careers in either of the two countries.
Finally, to round off these legal studies and gain a complete and even more valuable training in the world of work, students can go on to take a Master 2 in France or an LLM in England.
