AIMS
Developed in partnership between Aix-Marseille Universität and the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille, the Licence professionnelle Mention Logistique et Transports internationaux, Spé Management et Droit du Transport Maritime aims to train operating agents, consignment agents, technical-legal assistants, commercial assistants, shipping/water clark, transport litigators, and more generally managers who are fully operational in all areas of the international maritime transport sector;In general, we are looking for highly operational executives in all sectors of the international maritime transport, logistics and port industry (shipping companies, shipping agents, forwarding agents, stevedores, shippers, ship brokers, insurers and surveyors, logisticians, maritime and port industries).
ADMISSION CONDITIONS
Applications are made on Parcoursup. Selection on the basis of a file, selection after a motivation interview and an English level test.
STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION
A first year, in initial training, allows students to acquire the essential fundamentals for a professional integration in alternating years with a rhythm of one week of teaching for three weeks in the company (apprenticeship or professionalization contracts).
The courses are given on the premises of the Port of Marseille Training Institute.

KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED
The originality and strength of the training lies, on the one hand, in the specialisation, rare in France, that it allows to acquire in the maritime and port sector and, on the other hand, in the double competence, unique in France, that it allows to acquire in management but also in maritime transport law. The training is also firmly focused on the needs of companies in the maritime and port sector, in particular those in the Marseille-Fos port area.
It is based on the double expertise, professional and academic, of the Grand Port Maritime de Marseille-Fos, the leading French commercial port, and of the Pôle of Maritime, Air and Transport Law of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, the leading French university training centre in its field.
