Game in Lab is a program that supports the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge about board games and their benefits on an international scale. Game in Lab’s mission is based on three pillars: supporting research, disseminating scientific knowledge, and organizing events to bring together academic communities, board game enthusiasts, industry professionals, and the general public.
As part of its mission to support scientific research, Game in Lab organizes an annual international call for proposals to fund scientific research projects on board games.
We therefore invite international research teams to submit a project proposal on any research topic related to board games in the broadest sense.
Both disciplinary and interdisciplinary proposals are accepted—whether in basic or applied research—from any institution whose primary mission is scientific research. The call for proposals is open until September 25 to researchers from France and abroad.
