Announcement Calenda 1192050

Organized in a context where environmental crises are intensifying social and economic disparities, this col- loque entitled "Environmental Governance and Justice: Fabricating Social (in)equalities?" aims to explore the complex interconnections between environmental governance and social justice. Participants from diverse academic, political, socio-economic and civil society backgrounds will address fundamental questions: How do environmental policies influence power dynamics and social inequalities? How can environmental governance both mitigate and exacerbate these inequalities? Do ecological governance initiatives really promote inclusion and equity, or do they rather reinforce existing injustices?

This colloquium aims to provide a forum for constructive dialogue, enabling us to cross-fertilize perspectives and comparative experiences to better understand and respond to contemporary challenges. By emphasizing the importance of inclusive and just governance, this meeting aims to contribute to the design of more equitable public policies, likely to promote sustainable and harmonious development for all. The presentations combine theoretical analysis and practical case studies to provide an in-depth understanding of current environmental and societal challenges.
