For the second year in a row, the seminar will examine the ways in which the entry through techniques renews our view of the history and the actuality of the societies of medieval Europe. The relations between technology and culture are primarily of concern to anthropologists, but also present fruitful questions for history, sociology, political science and cultural studies. The attention to materialities has given rise to innovative research for several years, which will be discussed in a comparative perspective. The theme also presents a useful reflexivity in the pandemic period that has disrupted our ways of working and living through the digital and the "remote". Particular attention will be paid to the sources, archives and fields used for the research work.
