The world of the Greek cities cannot be understood without taking into account the close and permanent relationship that united men and gods, at different levels and in all fields of activity, both public and domestic. This study day is conceived as an invitation to confront observations made from dispersed documentary ensembles in order to nourish a more general reflection on the interactions between the human and the divine within the framework of the political life of Greek cities from the archaic period to the Roman period.
