150 years ago, the law of May 24, 1872 established the independence of the Conseil d'État, definitively transforming the institution. It became a real jurisdiction whose decisions were binding on the administration. Genesis of the law, history of administrative justice, independence and authority of the judge always more at the service of the citizen... On the occasion of the anniversary of this law, the Committee for the History of the Council of State and Administrative Jurisdiction will devote a half-day to these various subjects on May 30 from 1:45 to 5:00 pm.
