The study day "The lesbian press: laboratory of a community" will be held on May 26, 2026 in room 100 of the Centre de Colloques, on the Campus Condorcet (Aubervilliers).
We'll be delighted to hear from sociologists, art historians, anthropologists and historians who study the press in various geographical areas and chronological periods.
During this multidisciplinary day, we will consider the lesbian press as a media object, as sociological material, and as a tool for building a common culture.
During the study day "The lesbian press: the laboratory of a community", the lesbian press will be studied across various geographical areas and chronological periods by sociologists, art historians, anthropologists and historians. Organized into three panels, the various papers will highlight the protean nature of the lesbian press: at once a media object, sociological material and a tool for building a common culture.
