As a means of expression and communication, music has naturally attracted the attention of the law, just as music has had to take the law into account. Both defined as sciences as much as arts, they are also confronted with the question of their relevance to the society in which they are intended to flourish. Hence the common questions surrounding their creation, interpretation10 and inevitable evolution within the framework of the State. If there is no such thing as a universal law, how does legal technique deal with a "language" that is deemed universal in space and time?
