Intranquillity is a term that translates the idea of Desassossego in the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa. Taken back to Law in its long history, it allows us to think about the other side of well-known legal concepts: tranquility and public peace, public, political, social and moral order, or even good neighborliness and the peaceful enjoyment of property. More broadly, it opens up a wide horizon on the instability and legal insecurity to which the subjects of rights can fall victim. The aim of the colloquium is to determine, through a wide range of examples, whether intranquillity does not, through its prism, enable us to grasp a new angle on the concept of law.
