Ministry of the Armed Forces - Cour de cassation - International Forum on Military Justice - 18 and 19 November 2021 (hybrid forum)

Online 20 10 2021 - Date event 18 and 19 November 2021

(Announcement Calenda 916335)

Hybrid forum of 18 and 19 November 2021

The International Military Justice Forum (IMJF) aims first and foremost to give an account of the diversity of military justice systems, to expose their salient features, to explore their history and to make known their current developments. From a comparative perspective, the IMJF also aims to highlight the links and similarities that may have existed - or still exist - between national military laws, as a result of the circulation of legal models, codes, doctrines and people or the existence of geographical areas of influence. This event, organised by the CREC Saint-Cyr in collaboration with the Parquet Général de la Cour de Cassation, should finally allow us to imagine together what the future of military law could be, in the light of the technological and digital developments that are transforming our armed forces.

Its originality lies in the fact that it mixes disciplines. History, law, ethics, philosophy and new technologies will be at the heart of the participants' reflections.

The IMJF, which is a continuation of the work carried out by the law professors of the Centre de Recherches des Écoles de Coëtquidan (CREC) since 2010, is open to academics, lawyers, armed forces officers and all those who share an interest in this fascinating discipline.
