Hello everyone,

I am sharing an opportunity that may be of interest to researchers working on issuesofdemocratic erosion, democratic resilience, and/or participatory foresight.

The goal is to form a partnership to respond to a European call for proposals, in collaboration with the Changing Role of Europe research group at The Hague University of Applied Sciences.

Best regards,

Please share this call for a researcher specializing in democratic erosion and/or participatory foresight with your institution.

Thank you!

In response to a Terms of Reference (ToR) from the research platform of a pan-European political party, we are seeking to collaborate with an experienced researcher to develop a project proposal. The expertise sought includes one or both of the following:

  • Democratic erosion and democratic resilience in relation to European democracy
  • Participatory foresight, scenario development, and/or backcasting methodology

The project aims to contribute to strengthening democratic resilience in Europe. The proposal is to be developed in collaboration with the Changing Role of Europeresearch group at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. The budget is limited to 25,000 EUR (the division among partners is to be agreed upon).

Activities are expected to begin in November 2026.

Interested researchers can contact Remmelt de Weerd (R.J.deWeerd@hhs.nl) for full details of the Terms of Reference (ToR).
