New modes of discourse have emerged over the last twenty years, linked to a number of technological innovations, modes of discourse sometimes referred to as "technodiscourses" that challenge the traditional dichotomy between written and oral communication. Linguists have gradually turned their attention to these technodiscourses, which raise important methodological and theoretical questions, forcing the field of linguistics to take a crucial epistemological turn. The aim of this cycle will be to provide an overview of current research in this field at international level, and to compare practices and results.
