On October 15, 2026, the Jean Bodin Center is organizing the conference “New Dynamics in Banking Law” at the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management at the University of Angers, in the Tamaris Lecture Hall (3rd floor), and online.
The conference is chaired by Solène Ringler, Professor of Private Law at the University of Nantes, and Matthieu Zolomian, Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Angers.
Banking law is currently undergoing numerous transformations due to the combined effects of economic, environmental, and regulatory changes. The symposium“New Dynamics in Banking Law ” examines these changes and their impact on banking institutions. Their status is evolving, their responsibilities are expanding, and new roles are gradually being entrusted to them. This event will provide an opportunity to reflect on the contemporary transformations in banking law and the new balances they are shaping.
