Yesterday, the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence welcomed the Faculty of Law and Political Science and its partners to the annual "Entretiens Portalis" symposium, under the theme Art & Law. 🎨
🟠This event explored the close interactions between these two worlds, highlighting the unique legal challenges facing artists and public and private players connected to or in charge of culture. Complex issues such as intellectual property, the protection of works, freedom of artistic expression, cultural public policy and the legal challenges surrounding art exhibitions and sales were also addressed.
Thanks to the diversity of perspectives and knowledge shared, these Entretiens Portalis offered an in-depth reflection on the dynamic relationship between law and art, enriching our understanding of the legal impact on the art world.
