    The Obligations, contrats, biens course aims to deepen the knowledge and complete the legal reasoning skills of students in civil and economic law, with a view in particular to a judicial career (bar, judiciary).

     

    It emphasises a practical approach to the subjects taught so that graduates not only acquire good research skills and a high level of knowledge but can also train themselves to put them into practice.

  • TARGETED STUDENTS

    Students with a first year Master's degree in private law, in the broadest sense of the term.

  • FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES

    Students must have completed their first year of a Master's degree in any field of private law in the broadest sense

  • FUNDAMENTAL PREREQUISITES

    It is recommended that students follow, among the courses of the Master 1 Droit privé, the courses that will enable them to deepen their knowledge in the areas of civil and economic law and private judicial law; - they will also study Private International Law and Family Property Law, which are specialised in the core curriculum.

    The model course is administratively attached to the Institut d'études judiciaires.

    The course has a very close link with research and involves students in the life of the Laboratoire de droit privé et de sciences criminelles (LDPSC), its research colloquia and seminars, guest lectures and research programmes.

    Acquired and in-depth knowledge of all areas of civil and economic law, private international law and civil procedure.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    •    Maîtrise of fundamental, controversial and current civil law issues in both domestic and international law.
    • ·      Capacit&e; à élaborer une argumentation juridique structurée et étay&e.
    • ·      Capacity; à offer legal advice, à défendre a point of view.
    • ·      Capacity to take a critical look at positive law and propose changes to it.
    • ·      Ability to present a legal argument orally and convincingly.
    • ·      Maîtrise des épreuves écrites de droit civil des examens et concours des carrièresères judiciaires (barreau, magistrature).
