The aim of this symposium is to establish an interdisciplinary dialogue between researchers and practitioners to shed light on the challenges posed by ecological and health crises on a global scale. 7 years ago, a first colloquium was organized on this theme (proceedings published by Bruylant in 2018). Since then, developments in bioethics and parentage law have raised new questions about the establishment of maternal (and paternal) parentage. The colloquium will involve not only jurists and sociologists, but also maieuticians.

Each year, the Cour de France association provides financial support for the publication of two theses on the subject of the court or related themes. Each winning thesis is credited with €3,000 for publication.

Theses must have been defended between July 15, 2025 and July 15, 2026.

The École d'Orléans, under the aegis of the Centre de recherche juridique Pothier, is launching a new collective research project on the theme of normative transmission for the publication of a book. This new research follows on from those on normative force, normative densification, normative guarantee and normative posture. This research aims to describe, question and conceptualize the contemporary evolution of legal, social, ethical, technical and managerial norms.
