This international study day on contemporary Latin America explores new heritage dynamics in the Americas. Part of the ECsAMs (Experiencing Citizenship in the Americas) project, this event examines the expansion of conservation and transmission practices, integrating indigenous languages, popular cultures and marginalized memories. Through case studies from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Mercosur, papers analyze the social, political and identity-related issues linked to these living heritages.
