The Campus Condorcet Public Institution (EPCC), the Maison des Sciences Humaines et Sociales Paris Nord (MSH Paris Nord), and the Seine-Saint-Denis Departmental Council are launching, for the first time, a joint call for projects, with a budget of €30,000, intended to support research in the humanities and social sciences on regional issues.

Seine-Saint-Denis is a region undergoing significant urban, social, economic, and environmental changes. These changes are accompanied by a strong momentum of initiatives led by public authorities, nonprofit organizations, citizens, and the business sector, making the department a prime setting for social innovation, experimentation, and the renewal of public policy practices. Issues related to ecological transitions, reducing inequalities, education, health, mobility, and intercultural dynamics play a central role here.

This call for proposals is therefore intended to support research, participatory research, or research-creation projects in the humanities and social sciences that focus on territorial dynamics and the analysis of public action, and to promote the exchange of knowledge between the academic community, local stakeholders, and residents. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to developing a research hub rooted in its local community, in alignment with the public policies that serve it.

The 2027 call for proposals is open until October 15, 2026.
